We have completed a variety of projects over the years ranging from residential improvements to schools, commercial and local body enhancements.
These have included:
At the end of 2022 we transplanted 23 trees (12 fruit trees, 7 cabbage trees, a silk tree and three 12 year old Pohutukawa trees) at a College in Papamoa - saving them from a construction project. The trees were planted into a Nursery area off the sports field to await re-transplantation after the completion of the construction project. The Pohutukawa trees had to be dug out with our excavator and lifted with a crane or HIAB.
In Rotorua, the first conifer along the driveway had been half-destroyed by a drunk driver. Luckily, there was another conifer further in the row which was planted too close to the others - so it was able to be moved to replace the broken conifer, leaving an even distribution. Now the four tall conifers look like they have always been there.
With our Tree Spade machine we are the safest and fastest method for thinning out and relocating semi-mature Avocado trees to new areas within the orchards. This is a very quick, clean and cost effective method of moving trees within the horticultural sector.
In September 2023, Tree Transplant Services were contracted to relocate four very large Puriri trees from the main Whakatane roundabout. The trees were moved and planted across the road on a new piece of reserve land. This was to make way for a new-design roundabout into Whakatane.
Also in September 2023, we uplifted a lovely Magnolia tree from the Omanawa Falls reserve (to save it from new development), and transported it in our Tree Spade truck to McLaren Falls Park where we added it to their stunning driveway trees - instantly complimenting and enhancing the natural beauty of this wonderful park.
In April 2024, we planted a large and a small Pohutukawa tree at a new reserve on Beacons Wharf, Tauranga central. We had previously uplifted the large Pohutukawa from the old Dive Crescent Car Park in the CBD, before they changed this area into a reserve. The Pohutukawas had been planted and well looked after in our Nursery area until we relocated them to Beacons Wharf. Now the two Pohutukawas stand out like a shining beacon of proud New Zealand native trees down near the waterfront for everyone to enjoy.
In July 2024 we relocated a large Pohutukawa tree to the corner of a new business park development in East Papamoa. The tree now stands out like a proud matriach looking over the new Mitre-10 building.
We recently relocated two large Nikau palms in Lower Hutt, where we moved the trees from a neighbouring copnstruction site to the residential property boundary. They now present a grand feature to this lovely home.
