Projects

We have completed a variety of projects over the years ranging from residential improvements to schools, commercial and local body enhancements.
These have included:

Shade trees to protect children and public from the harsh sun in today’s environment
Screen Trees to establish boundaries and add privacy for residential homes and public areas
Feature trees to beautify council waterfronts, roundabouts and other public areas
The removal of Avocado and Kiwifruit trees to benefit fruit production
Beautification trees to enhance residential and lifestyle homes, driveways and landscape projects

Below are a few recently completed jobs we have undertaken throughout New Zealand:

Bay of Plenty Cricket Oval Mount Maunganui

Tree Transplant Services was contacted to relocate large existing Pohutukawa trees from around the cricket grounds and reinstate along the spectator’s berm. This created instant shade and also softened the commercial industry in the background.

A Kindergarten in Remuera

From our Tauranga tree nursery we supplied a large ground grown flowering cherry tree to provide sun protection and shade for the children. This also added beauty and screening for the complex.

Avocado Orchards within the BOP

Over the last 20 years, with our Tree Spade machine we are always thinning out and transplanting semi mature Avocado trees to new areas within the orchards. This is a very quick, clean and cost effective method of moving trees within the horticultural sector.

Auckland City Council – Viaduct Basin

We were asked to supply a large semi mature Pohutukawa tree weighing 13 tonnes from our Tauranga Waterfront to the redevelopment of the Wynyard Quarter. Due to the size of the tree transport had to be arrange for a night time delivery and then unloaded and craned into position in the morning.

Residential and Lifestyle Blocks

Tree Transplant Services have supplied and planted large specimen trees for a range of properties to create instant beautification and screen for privacy and shade.

Private Residence in Wellington

We recently supplied delivered and planted a large mature 6.2 tonne Phoenix Palm from our Nursery to a private garden in Wellington. Palms, even today are still a big part of our business. We have in the past sent a large consignment of Tracycarpus Palms from Tauranga to Wanaka in the South Island.
